Whether to use spinning software or not is hotly debated within the Internet Marketing community. All marketers know the benefits of creating backlinks to help them to rate well within the search engine rankings. Backlinks may be harvested by publishing many articles that include one or more backlinks to a website. This is a great way of generating backlinks however the process is very time consuming or expensive if you employ an article writing service.

Spinning software allows you to easily turn a single article into several dozen or even several hundreds of related articles with little effort. Spinners allow you to rewrite the article a word, sentence or paragraph at a time. All spinners contain a synonym replacement database to make it easier to find replacement words or phrases. Many spinners also contain a single button to automatically replace common words with highly used synonyms.

The spinning software will use the selected synonym replacements to randomly produce multiple versions of the source article. Increasing the number of replacements will increase the number of variations of the article. After an article has been spun, it will be made up of a portion of the original article and the randomly selected synonym replacements, thus creating a unique version of the original article. Many article writers aim for a spin percentage of 30%, meaning that the article is 70% original, and 30% unique.

To secret to using an article spinner is to pay particular attention to the articles that are being produced after the spin process. If the spinning software is used unwisely, the resulting article may appear like nonsense or may even look like it has been automatically translated from one language to another. This does not look professional and these sort of articles may not be accepted by article posting sites.

Good spinning software, such as SpinChimp, will allow you to manually add, remove or modify spin; test the resulting article; then modify the spin again and repeat until the resulting article is both unique and professionally written.

So to answer the question as to whether you really should or should not use spinning software, you should ask yourself the following questions:

1. Am I trying to portray a highly professional website using professionally written articles? In this case, you should consider using an article writing service rather than spinning articles. Creating spin that generates highly readable articles is very difficult and time consuming.

2. Do I need to submit articles to mass submission services? If the answer is yes, then spinning software is perfect for this task.

3. Do I need many backlinks and fast? Articles spinners are perfect for this task.

4. Do I need to submit the same article to many websites? If yes, then consider using a spinner to modify the article so that each submission is unique.

To conclude, spinning is a great way of producing multiple articles from a single source. However, learning how to produce resulting articles that read well is a skill and may take time to perfect.

How Do Affiliate Programs Work

http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/digg_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/reddit_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/stumbleupon_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/delicious_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/furl_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/technorati_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/facebook_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/yahoobuzz_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/mixx_48.png http://markbeljaars.com/wp-content/plugins/sociofluid/images/twitter_48.png

Affiliate programs are a great way of giving website owners a share of the profits of the products that they advertise. Affiliate programs are also extremely rewarding for intangible products such as software or online training programs. These products do not generally attract delivery costs or costs per unit, and therefore merchants typically offer affiliate incentives of up to 75% of the sales price. If an item was sold for $100, the affiliate would earn $75 of that sale!

In summary, an affiliate program works as follows:

  1. The affiliate adds a link to a product on their website. This link is often backed up with a comparison, review or a call to action.
  2. A visitor clicks on the link and is directed to an affiliate service, such as Clickbank or PayDotCom.
  3. The affiliate service drops a cookie on the visitor’s machine recording the source of the visitor.
  4. The visitor is automatically redirected to the product website.
  5. The visitor clicks the buy button and is directed back to the affiliate service.
  6. The visitor makes the transaction.
  7. The affiliate service interrogates the cookies on the visitor’s machine to determine the initial source of the visitor.
  8. The affiliate program pays the affiliate.

So let’s look at a case study for a particular piece of software to see how this works.

SpinChimp is a new spinner released by Aktura Technology. They sell the software for US$35 and offer the affiliate 50% of the sales price. Aktura Technology use Paydotcom to track their affiliates. Affiliates must therefore be a member of Paydotcom. Most affiliate services are free job.

Once signed up, you need to search for the product in the market place. Clicking on the product link will direct you to a page where you are presented with your personalized product link. This link is used by Paydotcom to determine who to award the sale to (as in step C above).

Next you need to include the link provided above on your website. Most people write an article about the product, pointing out is strengths and weaknesses – you should always be truthful otherwise your visitors will not trust any information that your site offers. The SpinChimp website also has banners on the affiliate page to help affiliates attract clicks. This is common practise for most products.

SpinChimp is a little unique here in that it offers a free three day trial period. Therefore, most people who click on the add will probably not buy the product on that day. Luckily though, most cookies have a long life span – Paydotcom cookies live for 6 months. This means that when the trial period expires, the visitor will either buy the product or discontinue using it. If they click the buy button, they are directed to Paydotcom, and hence the affiliate will still get paid.

So although the process is fairly complex, it is transparent as far as the visitor is concerned, and only requires the addition of a link on the affiliate’s website.

Hi Everyone. I’m sorry I have not answered any comments in a while. Spare time has been an extremely rare commodity lately. I’ve been working with two friends of mine on a brand new type of article spinning software called SpinChimp by Aktura Technology.

SpinChimp is different in that the synonym database is both community generated and locally stored. The product keeps track of what people do when they use the application and sends this information to the main servers every now and again. The servers crunch the received data and create small update packets which are sent to all subscribers on a daily basis.

If you want to know more, check out the quick vid below…

Spinchimp is absolutely free to try for three days, so there is absolutely no harm in giving it a burl.

Launch is now very close and we hope to have an affiliate program up and running soon. Stay tuned.

Cya.
